Children

At St. Mary’s we LOVE children, and we are committed to help them grow to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ!

Sunday School (currently not running)

St. Mary’s Sunday School is designed for Kids from Age 5 – 5th Grade. Children attend church with their family, leaving for Sunday School after receiving Holy Communion (approximately 10:15am). Teens are invited to participate in our Teen Bible Study, which runs concurrently with Sunday School.  Parents are invited to enjoy fellowship in our Parish Hall as their youth complete Sunday School instruction.

Nursery (currently not running)

There is a changing table available in the bathroom at the rear of the Church. The worship service is however broadcast to a television in the Parish Hall, so mothers and fathers concerned about their children “disrupting the service”can bring them there and still follow along. However, please note that young children are VERY WELCOME in the service. A little extra noise just adds to the fun!

Acolytes

Baptized children ages 8 and up as well as adults are invited to become acolytes (altar servers).  Acolytes assist the clergy during the Sunday service in a variety of important ways. For more information, see Father Lou.
