2026 07 26 Pentecost 9, Proper 12, Track 2. Holy Communion from the Reserved Sacrament, officiated by Dcn. Rick Littlejohn.
« 2026 07 19 Pentecost 8, Proper 11, Track 2. Communion from the Reserved Sacrament led by Deacon Alan Hart. Thank you for coming and leading our worship today, Deacon Alan. You were a much-loved Deacon at St. Mary’s about 15 years ago. You were with us recently playing your guitar and singing popular folk and other songs as St. Mary’s hosted a most pleasant evening. You were accompanied by your talented wife, Dcn Mary Carol. The evening raised over $1,000 to support cancer patients at Glens Falls Hospital. It was a successful as well as an enjoyable occasion.
2026 08 02 Pentecost 10. Proper 13. Track 2. Holy Communion led by Fr. Bill Hinrichs. We were extremely grateful that Fr. Bill Hinrichs, accompanied by his most gracious wife, visited St. Mary’s and led our service of Holy Communion. He is also our principal advisor about matters concerning our search for a new Rector. After church, Fr. Bill met with the Vestry, which is also the Search Committee, including two non-Vestry members. We think this was the first visit Fr. Bill has visited St. Mary’s in many years. It was a successful meeting. Fr. Bill preached an excellent sermon and we encourage you to listen and be inspired by it. We were blessed that yesterday’s ecumenical outreach of music, testimony, prayer, food and fellowship at Butler Park was well attended and considered to be successful as well as enjoyable. Thanks are due to parishioner Barbara BLM, whom had put hours of love and hard work in to organize the event. She was helped by many others from St. Mary’s. We thank them too. Towards the end of notices, we were pleasingly moved by a poem, spoken by parishioner Erich who composed it in his head as he drove to church yesterday. His words meshed beautifully with the words of the sermon and were a visible example of the Holy Spirit at work within the parish of St. Mary’s. »
